Healing begins at the root.

How it works...

  • A quick, no-pressure video or phone call to get a feel for each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, answer your questions, and see if we’re a good fit.

  • Your first full session is about slowing down and getting clear on your needs. Together, we’ll set goals, talk through what’s most important to you, and create a plan for moving forward.

  • Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Through EMDR, DBT, mindfulness, and other tools, we’ll work at your pace—building skills, untangling patterns, and creating the change you want in your life.

Kindroots Approach

Healing takes root in safety, care, and connection. At Kindroots Therapy, we offer trauma-informed therapy for adults and teens across South Dakota, including Sioux Falls and surrounding communities, that is rooted in respect, curiosity, and care. We’ll start by exploring what’s going on in your life, identify what feels stuck, and move at a pace that feels safe for you. We use a variety of approaches always tailored to your needs which may include EMDR, DBT, and mindfulness to help you feel more connected, grounded, and in charge of your healing.

Kindroots Therapy offers services exclusively through secure telehealth, making it easier to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Whether you're at home, in your car between responsibilities, or living in a rural area, virtual therapy offers flexibility without compromising connection.
